Framework for Testing Smart Cards

GlobalTester is an Open Source platform to manage testing and analysis of smart cards and e-passports. GlobalTester is based on Open Source components and allows the generation and testing of test cases.

Initially GlobalTester was designed to test e-passports only, but it turned out to be a universal test tool for testing all sorts of smart cards. 

To execute the GlobalTester TestManager, which is available for download here, you only require a standard PC running the popular Eclipse platform and a PC/SC-compatible reader that allows card communication. The test scripts are structured with XML and defined with JavaScript.
